Silo on Apple TV (1 Viewer)

i thought about mentioning built vs occupied, but i didn't think it was relevant, we shall see. since solo has access to the vault he would know of the other silos, but was the other Silos knowledge to others in 17 or was it like 18? if so, i am not sure they want electronic communication between them in case the vaults were breeched..

Very excited to see who else is in #17 tonight (hopefully)...and
My new theory is that it could be a raider or secret police sent by some other Silo/actual people in charge? We know that all IT Silo factions have external power and some sort of ability to rely info (the key chain and the fact that the Legacy is monitoring most all Silo activity in real-time. So they saw whatever Bernard saw thru the visor as she made her way over the hill, thru the bodies and into 17. They know they'll lose 18 if she figures out how to go back, so they sent an assassin of sorts to stop her. It is prob far more likely it's simply a resistance member that lived up in Judicial, but thought it would be a cool twist?

My thought is they're feeling her out. An outsider appearing would have to be one of the most jarring experiences - now they know she's skilled, and I have a feeling she's about to obtain another unwanted side quest. I do wish they hadn't leaned so hard on the bends though, there had to be a better way to get that in there without making it over the top obvious like that.

I'm thinking they probably couldn't kill Solo without an alternate way to get into the IT vault, and they may now think they have it. That may look like Solo being a hostage, or being dead with Jules breaking into IT being her price to get out. Either way, I would think she finds some valuable information in there.

We can now venture a guess Solo acts like a paranoid loon because there is actually something out there to be paranoid about
I'd also guess they have tried to get into IT more than once, hence the damage to the locking mechanism and the bodies (which I have been thinking since we first got here)

Lukas and the tunnel being her way out seems like the way the story will go though.
If ya’ll don’t see me in here for a couple days, I’m workshopping ways for this to not be the wrongest wrong I have wronged in quite some wrong

This is closer to Desmond in the vault levels of WTF
It’s wide open now - Solo could now be a useful idiot or he might be a Ben (to continue the Lost analogy)

That's a great reference to the situation. I am fairly sure he's not dead, but he's likely lost a lot of blood and is in deep crap. That was just a wild final sequence, so was the whole thing--the way they shot it. I really have no clue if that group is there for him...or her? They looked pretty damn young and slightly feral!
It was another great episode, they keep upping the bar with 2 yet to go.
The Lukas Kyle development was awesome, too.
Bernard continuing to unleash forgotten truths to him (and us)...
I am starting to think there might not be another Silo remaining...or they look quite similar to 17

I made the mistake of checking out the sub-Reddit on this show...yikes
I guess I am not totally surprised--given some of the pacing, but it seems like they had the deck stacked against them with the various strike issues...
I think I might try to wait another week and watch both 9 and 10 together?

Any show based on a book you have to tread lightly on reddit- too many book readers like to pretend they’re ’guessing ‘ where the show is going
For whatever joy that gives them
I tend to wait a bit after a show and let the mods clean up the ‘show only’ discussions

Yeah, I am still a bit of a novice to Reddit...but I stay outta the book threads and usually wait a few days to take in the specific episode threads. Just seems crazy-- the sheer amount of folks complaining (maybe it's not tho) about it being too slow and not Juliette focused enough. I have a few small issues with that, but nothing that is preventing me from thinking this is some of the finest TV going right now.

I’ve written there and other places that ‘fan culture’ almost has a built in season 2 crap fest
If there is a surprise new show, there will be a vocal minority who will post loudly and negatively

I can bet it’s going to happen for Severance and Last of Us and Fallout

Don’t know why they do it, they just do

Guess it is safe to say that Judge Meadows knew a great bit more than Bernard!
