Six percent of people think they can beat a grizzly bear (4 Viewers)

Naw, that old notion has been dispelled years ago….I got the same advice that Face posted prior from a park ranger in Yellowstone…..also those idiots who think a gun is some kind of deterrent….your chances of hitting a bear with one fatal shot is very slim…guess what happens when you injure said bear….Bear spray that can launch a 50-60 foot stream is the best deterrent….
A bears heart beat is 40 BPM. That means they bleed out very slowly. Unless you connect with a direct hit to the brain
or spinal cord a mortally wounded bear is still dangerous for up to an hour.

The park rangers also told my dad a handgun or rifle is a poor choice. You go with a 12 gauge deplugged with
000 buck shot

Would have liked to see wasps on that list.

I could fully take on any large dog not named Kangal or wolf. But wasps?

No sir. I'll just go that way.

The only ones who are agressive are yellowjackets. The sound of a lawn mower will send them into attack mode.
Red wasps are gentle. They won't attack unless you physically threaten their nest. They are also known as a
gardeners best friend. Leave them be. They prey on insects that damage yours plants

Not falling for your wasp propaganda

not propaganda. It's the truth. If you dont physically threaten their nest, they'll leave you be.

My grandfather taught me this a long time ago. They are a gardeners friend.

I'm just a nerd that remembers a lot that was taught to me as a child. I have a nest on my front porch and the wife has
her garden in front. I'll sit on it from time to time. They'll buzz me then go back to their nest. I'm not stupid. I'm not
going to poke their nest with a stick. I know they scare some people, but they are generally harmless if you let them alone.

A true nerd would've recognized my reference.
