So Can We Overreact Now? (5 Viewers)

Fair enough. I might feel ambivalent at times. I know the feeling, but I'm pretty stuck on the bandwagon. Lol.

That's good I hope it stays that way. And I will never ever celebrate a loss. I want what is best for the team who knows stars might align and they get their act together highly unlikely but who knows. I'm here for the wins too not like we will never get one again, I mean it could be far away but there is one out there this season with our name on it.

Signs of a good team and a bad team are pretty clear. The ability to finish. Chiefs could’ve easily lost two -three games. They didn’t. They finished when they had a chance and are undefeated. Our team with all the opportunity in the world does not finish. Two games in a row given away. How do you hold a team to no TDS and lose? Not finishing that’s how.
There’s a reason we lose these toss up games that come down to the end so consistently. Comes down to execution which comes down to coaching. You either got grit or you don’t, and organizationally we just don’t really.

I mean it's the small things that determines winning and losing some times, case in point, even with the muffed punt and int, just fall on a strip sack fumble, and you more than likely win the game.

These are games that come back and bite you in the end. Falcons 2 losses AFC, Saints 2 losses NFC, one in the division. Long way to go n but can't keep wasting away winnable games.

Carr wasn't the problem. The INT wasn't a bad throw just bad awareness on his part. But you are right as rain. Something is rotten in Denmark. I am tired of this feeling:

This will be our year! This team we are gonna go all the w..

I don’t understand this.
It’s not bad it was just bad?

It wasn’t bad just bad?

Same HC same QB same (or worse) results.

Nothing will change until real changes are made.

Understand but my point is good teams don’t spot their competition 14 points by fumbling a punt that should have and would’ve gone through the endzone for a touchback and an already sniffed out screen pass that should’ve been thrown into the ground and live to see another play.
Yep. Exactly.

You must not have watched the KC games, Refs are making sure the darlings of the NFL are on track

I agree with you about the punt fumble but I can also guaran-damn-tee he’s not being coached to try to field a punt over his shoulder in that situation. Player made a poor decision. Carr was trying to ground that ball, in hindsight he should’ve spiked it and took the grounding call but in reality that was just a great bat by the defender and a very unfortunate ricochet that resulted in a TD the other way. Snake bitten as always.
You can only spike the ball and not get grounding if you take 1 step back from the center. In this situation DC was trying to throw it at the feet of the ball carrier. With that said if the LT or LG would have chipped Judon probably like the play was designed it may have been successful

Like I said after the Dallas game. "It is very hard to judge a game, when everything goes good early." We got out to a 2 score game early. With the Panthers and Cowboys, we had them one dimensional early. Teams can play w/ 2 safety's up top and we still can't run the ball enough to win the game. Take away DC's long ball pass, and he is so average.

So what are you saying? I was saying he should’ve spiked it and taken the call anyway but that was after knowing the result of that fluke play.

Or just act accordingly? I mean we had people making fun of other people "overacting" last week. Now they look stupid. I am just curious you want the team to succeed but when you know your team is headed in the wrong direction and another playoff miss and possible losing season. At what point do you come to terms that maybe you were wrong all a long? This isn't a I told you so type thread just asking the sunshine pumpers and excuse makers exactly what were you expecting this team to do? Yeah had two great weeks of football and totally collapse the next two. We are who we are always going to be a middling team until we get a generational QB again. I think we all can be fans of the team but have some honest expectations on where this team is at and where it will remain.
The L's are MUCH, MUCH more palatable from the confort of my couch. Something about saving 5 hours drive time and 5-700 bucks just agrees with my soul.

Quite condescending don't you think?
