Sean Payton on Taysom Hill post game.

“I don’t know that there’s anyone that enjoys playing football more than him. And that kind of rubs off and is kind of contagious on his teammates. So when guys like him makes a play, you see the bench get excited,” Payton said. “He’s neat to coach. ... There aren’t many guys like him. The first one I’ve ever coached like him. So while he’s developing as a quarterback, there’s a lot of places he’s playing .. And I probably need to keep giving him the ball even more.”

Sounds like those who insist Sean Payton sees no QB in Taysom don't know Sean Payton.

Yep ?? was waiting for someone to catch THE OBVIOUS...
Payton is wisely allowing Taysom to gain repeated real game confidence in pressure situations.
I must admit...Payton is taking an unconventional approach to grooming the Saints next QB, but he is developing him quite nicely by utilizing his strengths 1st.

I enjoy watching him greatly. I love his attitude and enthusiasm. This guy ever since he has arrived is keep on producing big play after big play. Might be one of the greatest athletes to have ever played in the N.F.L. Can't think of any player who has caught, rushed for a T.D and blocked a punt in a game.

I kinda like the strategy, if there is one. By Taysom playing all of these positions, he will know exactly what the other positions entail, when he finally does get a chance. If that’s not by mistake, then it’s brilliant. If it is by mistake, then it’s lucky, but still brilliant

This is what I posted about in the thread about who we want to take over after Brees. I think he's developing Taysom and by Taysom playing all of the skill positions on offense, he will have an understanding of each position as well as QB. It will be a unique perspective for him.

I could see this as you being right almost as much as I see it as you reading too much into that one line. I'm sure he does see it that way, even if he only means the plays he is actually under center. The more things he can do in the pocket, the more dangerous he is all around. Either way he is fun to have

Needs to try a few snaps at S and LB. I'll bet he wouldn't stink.

Taysom is one of my favorite Saints to watch. He give 110% every play. When he’s a runner, he’s looking to level someone if they want to tackle him. He has a cannon for an arm, fast as heck, strong as an ox and a contagious fun attitude. Perfect guy to have on your team and I’m glad we have him.

If we clinch home field maybe in one of the throw away games, Payton will rotated Taysom through every position on O and D as a lark. I think he was a backup long snapper in HS and even was a kicker.

You put PJ Williams on Kittle with S help... and hope that Latt and Apple can handle Sanders and Samuel outside.
Pressure on Jimmy G will see him throw more than couple passes up for grabs.

It was a joke considering there is an entire thread dedicated to who's going to cover Kittle.
