I'm pretty sure the only ones who do not like Taysom are those who think he might stand in the way of their prefered inheritor.

Lades MEHed my post. I can't fathom why any fan would be down on Taysom's contribution or potential unless they viewed him as an obstacle?

I'm not sure I agree with you a hundred percent on your policework there, Lou. Coach Payton doesn't say "I'm still developing him as a qb," he says that Taysom is developing as a QB. Meaning he's not ready to be a qb yet, so he's still working at it. I'm sure it would make Coach Payton's life easier to have Hill be the guy, but if he was ready to be, he woulda been.

They didn't MEH Hill, they MEHed your assessment of the quote. Don't conflate the two.
 
He’s becoming one of my favorite players ever. As so many have stated, his enthusiasm is Mark Ingram level...I’d love for him to get a shot at QB. I think we’d need a solid back up tho as my worry with him is he’s fearless, fast and likes contact. Higher chance of injury imo.

Seriously? Word games and pretending you know what Payton DIDN'T say?

If you really want to play semantics and nuance, Payton said "While".

While in this context is a length of time or a duration which implies an conclusion.

While he is injured.
While he is in school.
While he is traveling.
While he is developing.

Man, the best argument I’ve seen to why “some posters” are against Taysom being the next Saints Starting QB is that Taysom is the obstacle to those posters preferred pick. I that nails it folks.
Well to those folks that say things like: Taysom can’t throw, read defenses, blah blah, and the best of all the varied posts is a plethora of folks stating thoughts that imply Sean Payton has little clue to Taysom’s QUARTERBACK abilities?!?!?

Folks...quit being dumb. Just quit it already...Sean Payton has HIS GUY!!!

Taysom Time is coming 2021 & he’s gonna run over, around, & through every damn obstacle you, me, or any NFL player period!!!!

It’s pretty ironic that you are feigning objectivity when discussing QB’s and calling people out for not liking someone simply because he is “in the way of their preferred inheritor”.

You trashed and nitpicked Teddy Bridgewater for a solid month, rarely giving him credit for anything. It was way worse than anything I’ve seen people write about Taysom Hill (who rightly has a near 100% approval rating).
