The article didn't say that per se. It noted what was mentioned in the press release were all new shows, but none of the currently ongoing ones. Hopefully, that's all it was: an announcement focused on what completely new content they'll be putting out, not an announcement that the ongoing shows won't be done in time to release in 2024 (by sneakily not mentioning them rather than saying outright they won't be on air this year). I doubt they would do an "announcement by omission" rather than making a definite statement about those series since they have been wildly popular. Translation:The issue I have is not so much that Disney wants to use Star Wars as a platform for LGBTQIA+ representation, but that it was guileful in doing so. Rather than leading early in the series with celebrated lesbian rebels, they waited until the audience is vested in the climax of 5 hours of plot development to insert a new character trait into existing characters, and not as a twist, but as a tomato surprise. It's disingenuous.
People are entitled to their own opinions. I have mine too. Have a good day.
To this day there is some controversy over Han’s line on Hoth when he was going out on a Tauntaun to look for LukeBut would they use that word in the Star Wars universe? Maybe a replacement word/phrase like "fragging" or "farging iceholes".
i'm sure they figured there was no way they were going to be able to keep that lid onI would have tried my hardest to keep this under wraps
Deny, lie and try to keep it a secret until his episode aired
