He may be right. Defense was atrocious.

Without Brees we would be sub .500, all else equal.

Pay Brees now.

Whatever....we pushed them without Smith and Ivory....we can beat them but the D does need to improve.

He is probably correct

We have 11 turnovers

They have 27

We did get 2 tonight

Hopefully that's an upward trend for the rest of the season

And the great D that was played tonight prompted this? 3 points in the first half and only 7 more before garbage time.

The Packers D gives up gobs of yards too.

If anything tonight proved we could easily hang with them just like we did on opening night.

Besides a fluke play and the prevent defense, did the D really play that poorly? They seemed good out there to me.. and I continue to be impressed with our run D.

not to mention we cant seem to recover the fumbles we force. d played really well imho.

He is right. This defense is not good enough. The defensive line is underachieving. The linebackers are physically not good enough. And I don't know what is happening with our secondary, though it has been clear for much too long that Robinson lacks the instincts for the game.
