Steve Young's first comments: New Orleans defense is too bad to threaten the Packers. (2 Viewers)

He is right. This defense is not good enough. The defensive line is underachieving. The linebackers are physically not good enough. And I don't know what is happening with our secondary, though it has been clear for much too long that Robinson lacks the instincts for the game.

Stopping the run is about winning in the trenches. Aside from a few individual moments, we've done very, very well against the run of late. That has to come down to the play of guys like Cam Jordan and Aubrayo Franklin.

Yeah, too many uncontested passes. How many completions did manning have. Thats just ridiculous.

Besides a fluke play and the prevent defense, did the D really play that poorly? They seemed good out there to me.. and I continue to be impressed with our run D.
We will enjoy the fact that we have one of the greatest Qbs ever. That was too much for the Giants.

But 23 consecutive completions by Manning...busted defense for long TD...zero pass rush. That ain't going to work in the playoffs.

But enjoy the offensive production.

We need to get better on defense to reach goals. Good news is in film review Williams has plent of fodder to use to challenge his players.

Did we just 49 points on a hungry team in playoff contention...and guys are in here complaining? What happened to Saints fans?

If we keep playing 10 yards off the line, there's no way this defense will be able to stop Rodgers.

Guys, we gave up 24 points.

Shoot, our SB year we gave up 27 to this same team. This is the formula. We got 2 turnovers and scored on offense. This IS what won us a super bowl!!

ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME?! I know I'm going to get warned/banned because of language, but this thread deserves it. Our D played well enough tonight to win ANY game. They're not a top 5 D, but they can get stops when they need them.

LOL we had a chance to beat them opening night. The Pack has already been threatened. I feel as though things are coming together more now than they were earlier in the season.

Because the Saints will play in prevent most of the second half against the Pack.

Too many concussions for that guy.
