Sunday Ticket Will Be Priced At $300/Year With A Possible Cheaper Single Team Option (2 Viewers)

I read this as 'season tickets' and I was about to call the office now to cancel. lol

It’s something I would consider. Depending on the particulars, it seems like a fair price.

And I’m not here to judge anything, but I was raised on the whole “though shalt not steal” thing.

And I raise my kids telling them never to take what’s not theirs.

I suppose I could justify it to myself if chose to do so, but stealing however ya justify is still stealing.

1. I thought Amazon was getting NFL ticket.
2. YouTube shows TV shows? When did this happen. I thought it was just for sharing videos.

It won’t be long before a a Super Bowl halftime show is the norm for regular season games. 😂

As far as I know, it's already the norm. I've never seen a Super Bowl halftime show. Do people actually watch them? Just like regular season games, halftime is when I go to the bathroom and refill my alcohol stash.

I've had Sunday Ticket most of the past 15 years. I've been telling anybody that would listen for at least that long that Directv would make a fortune (beyond what they made) by offering a $99 option for coverage of a single team. So it may finally be happening, after 20 years of asking for it! I'd be completely happy just watching the Saints and an occasional nationally televised game.

yeah, other than being more accessible it's still contractually required (CBS/FOX) to be too **** expensive! We'll see if they roll out a team-specific plan in the $100-$150 range. 🤞

Things will definitely be different this year. For one, I guess I may have to figure out what a YouTube TV is. I had Sunday Ticket via satellite dish for about a decade, then I moved to a new house in the woods. There were so many trees, I couldn't get line of sight to satellites, so DirecTV put me on a list of addresses that couldn't get satellite service, then let me open a streaming-only account just for NFL ticket. I continued through this past season. I've been saying for years that they could make a lot more money if they offered a single team option. I know I would buy it. I'm also a season ticket holder, but I can't get to all the games due to distance, and they rarely ever broadcast the Saints now that we suck again are no longer as good as we used to be.
