Teams calling the Saints about Lattimore; Commanders, Chiefs, Chargers, & Ravens are legitimately interested & actively bidding (2 Viewers)

A top 100 pick will do. Top 75 great. Top 50 awesome. Especially when his replacements are already on the team
If it's a late 3rd rounder, they better be offering a 2026 4th to go with it. Marshon is one of the few players that we have that could help deliver a championship for a contender. I want more than pick 100 for that.

Bills and Ravens fans are hearing rumors that their teams are seeking Latt too….a true case of going to the highest bidder it seems.

Sad thing is, the lack of pass rush wasn’t the biggest issue w/ Minesotta Miracle. It was Allen’s playcalling that had a LB covering empty grass, and left the Safety playing hash to hash.

Edge wasn’t the missing piece by far lol.
Man I so agree with you about Allen. He was somewhat competent as a DC, better than Payton's previous attempts at hiring a DC, way overrated. His D faltered at crunch time way too often.

I still foresee us making a trade where we receive Lil Jordan Humphrey, Denver's 5th and Jeff Lurie somehow ends up pocketing the Saints 2026 1st round pick along the way...

He’s the only player on defense that is a pick 6 threat on any down! Why do we want to get rid of that?
Because the mob wants the team to completely dismantle and trade ALL assets to stockpile 5th round picks and be terrible for the next three years to reset their cap. However, the mob is fickle and they will explode next year when the team starts 0-3. This is why you can NEVER allow the mob to sway your judgement.

and so it begins. This is a mistake because Wash just proved that an elite rookie can turn you into a superbowl contender in one offseason. The Texans proved that the year before. However, im OK with Latt being traded ONLY because he seems to check out easily. (his hamstrings get pulled whenever the other team is up double digits)

The thing is that Lattimore will be 29 next year and isn't going to want to stay here for a rebuild which is what is going to happen. So, you either trade him now at the height of his value, keep him until he demands a trade in the offseason and tanks his value because he wants to play for a ring, or lose him the year after when he leaves in free agency for nothing. Personally, I think the correct move is to trade him at the height of his value.

And on a rebuilding team, a 29 year-old very good, but often injured, CB doesn't do you much good. Especially when we have his replacements in Taylor and McKinstry in house.

Adebo, Taylor, Kool-Aid and Rico, the cupboards not bare.
Before the injury I'd have speculated Adebo played his last down in NO. After the injury, he might be resigned on a discount prove it deal. However, I think we as fans have seen enough to know that at best he's an okay 2nd DB. He's too aggressive in coverage (see the penalty rates) and not consistent enough to be a true number 1. There was a reason why we've invested two high round picks in corner the last 3 years.
