I'm usually one who refuses to see a movie on opening weekend; I prefer to wait until it's less crowded. And going at midnight to be the first to see it just seems silly to me; it's not like you get to see a better version of the movie or anything. However, I am so anxious for this movie, I will likely be there opening weekend. The midnight thing is too hard on my kids, who want to see it too, but I'm thinking opening night is a must for us. Can. Not. Wait.

I'm usually in that boat during the school year (unless I take the next day off), but our Lafayette theaters have taken to 7/8pm showings on Thursday nights for big releases instead of the usual midnight. It makes it MUCH easier to check out Age of Ultron the night before and still be a productive member of society on Friday. It doesn't have the traditional midnight "nerd crackle," but it also keeps me from having to make a difficult choice.
