The case for not bathing (1 Viewer)

I can totally see the points being made. However, for me, the rash I developed while in the field in Basic Training so many years ago messed me up psychologically. I now shower at least twice a day. Must be clean or I will break out.

I blame the military.

And don't forget to exfoliate !

Surrius question? I dunno, I just got tired of not seeing any difference between shampoos despite all the marketing claims and my hair feeling like straw. And I'm against the high prices of most beauty products in general knowing I'm paying for things not having to do with the actual product (advertising, packaging, unnecessary ingredients like fragrances, etc). I don't wear perfume (an occasional body spray) or deodorant and I've been told I smell good, so I guess I'm okay. I'm not, I don't think, OVERLY obsessed about the chemicals in products except for not wanting to use things on my skin that contain alcohol, but it has the same effect by wanting to use more DIY kind of things like making my own body scrubs containing the natural ingredients.

If you have naturally oilly hair add a dash of tea tree oil

Kind of makes me wonder about Chucks view on how many uses he can get out of underwear before washing them
2 on each side?

Chuck has admitted to unmentionable activities in the shower
It just seems that cleaning is not one of them - or at least not an all over cleaning

Probably happens during certain ...ahem....positions.

Kinda funny that this thread died with Undead Snoopy (Sorry, my friend, for my morbid humor. Kinda goes with the territory though what with your name and what with you actually DYING and stuff. Miss you, my friend!!) and wasn't bumped after the whole hygiene and bathing discussion in the TIL thread.

So rather than post in there, I did a search and this thread came up. Anyway, I follow this dermatologist on u tube and on a video she was talking about body wash and how it can get trapped in skin folds and such if you're not careful about making sure it's all rinsed off and that the residue can cause skin irritation. I dunno, that just kinda nonplussed me that you'd use body wash and wouldn't rinse it off.
