The next two games (Philly, ATL) (3 Viewers)

The Philly game will be tough because it's on the road and Sam Bradford is only really effective when he's not under duress. That means we'd have to generate pressure from the front 4. That will be tough. If we get blitz-crazy, they'll start the dump-offs to Sproles and he'll definitely be giving an extra effort Sunday.

I think we can win but, I'm more eager to see if the dramatic win on Sunday had any lasting effect on our young guys confidence.

Also Byrd is a week healthier. Presumably :)

Who said super talented? Lol. I thought I said a little more talent. Take your black & gold goggles off.
You said a little more talented than our superbowl winning defense. Yeah I think I'm not the one with the Homer glasses here.

Also, I never said we will win. I never said our team are not worse than your team.

I just said we have a chance to win. Even if it's a small chance.

This game against Philly is so crucial IMO. The Atlanta game will be so tough, we need to get this win in Philly. If we beat Philly and go to 2-3 we will have momentum heading into that home game against the Falcons. and it's another Prime time game. Fans will dialed in knowing it can get use back to .500.

I can see Philly having a coming out party for their offense against us. At some point they will get their rushing attack going. Hopefully that happens after they play us. As for the falcons, based on the play of both team up until this point, I have seen nothing that would indicate we could win that game.

I'm very excited to see the falcons' WR against our secondary. I know its probably they will get torched by them, but I don't care. I just think it will be a great experience for our DBs to go against one of the top group of WR in the game.

I like our secondary, but IMO the key will be somehow getting pressure on Ryan. We have not been able to do that to date as everyone knows, and without that pressure he will find the open receivers given time.

Atlanta wins by 14+, playing 2009 Saints football with a little more talent on D.

disagree....while I do think you guys are playing good ball right now I don't think you're nearly as explosive on O as we were and your D is giving up more points and more yards than our D did. It's still early too....you have to keep that up all season long and carry the momentum into the playoffs.

The only win I would consider quality is by 2 points over Philly and I'm not sure I even consider those guys quality right now. The other 3 wins are against teams that aren't very good. The best thing you have going for you is your schedule. Looking at your schedule it should be no problem for you guys to get 13-14 wins this year. I figure you'll have a couple hiccup games but realistically every team on your schedule is a beatable team. Just don't exit the playoffs game one.....again. :spit:

IF they indeed make the playoffs, which it looks like they will. They won't do anything. They have NO home field advantage and that team scares no one on the road in the playoffs. Will be fun to watch!

Its not that we're such a bad team and ATL is such a good team... we're just YOUNG.

I saw a graphic recently (may have been the Cowboys game) that showed the total number of snaps by rookies, and the Saints had over 600 snaps by rookies, which led the NFL. The next closest team in that stat had a little over 300 snaps by rookies. 300+ more snaps than the next closest team.

Now for ATL... they could easily be 1-3 right now,

- they beat Philly by 2 (game-saving INT off the hands of Jordan Matthews)
- they came back on NYG (NYG gave up a 10-point lead AGAIN)
- Dallas was destroying them... until the Cowboys decided to forget how to play football, and allowed Julio and Freeman go ballistic on them

We can beat Philly, and we can beat ATL... I can't chalk both of those games up as losses.

Buckle up and have some good food ready. We're in for 2 excellent, close ball games. All 3 teams are very hungry for wins, and will be playing very hard.

The Saints will get a little better every week, the other 2, probably not as much. So I see a good possibility for the Kiddie Squad to put the Saints back in contention.
