Comparing Detroit’s injuries to the Saints is like comparing apples to oranges. They also have a bad arse as a HC, Saints had DA when all these injuries happened

NFL does not flex MNF games….,end of story. This will be an extremely unpopular opinion but I firmly believe that the NFL needs to flex the Saints/Packers Monday Night game with the Texans/Chiefs game on December 23rd.
Hear me out.
Yes, it is a big deal to be on Monday Night Football. I get the advertising and the money aspect of it. I believe in Darren Rizzi and think that this team absolutely fights for him but let’s face reality. The Saints are going to get curb stomped on national television. Again. The Saints, while having some heart and fight, are not a good team. They are bad. Yes, they are that bad. The Packers are good, very good in fact and fighting for playoff positioning. It is outside and cold. All in the Packers favor. I don’t think anyone here or in the general football world sees the Saints having a snowball’s chance in hell of keeping this game close, let alone winning this game. The Texans/Chiefs? That will be a good game. I just see this as a 52-17 drubbing of the Saints.
Clown, flame, laugh, disagree away but I really do not see the value of having our team embarrassed on national TV. Let them get beat on a local TV on a Sunday afternoon level and be a byline on ESPN.com.
2024 Flexible Scheduling Procedures and Scheduling for Week 18 - NFL.comNFL does not flex MNF games….,end of story.
For the 2024 season, flexible scheduling will also include Monday Night Football, as well as Thursday Night Football on a trial basis.
...
For Monday Night Football it may be used at the NFL's discretion in Weeks 12-17
...
For Sunday Night Football in Weeks 5-13 and for Monday Night Football in Weeks 12-17, the NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX, NBC, and ESPN) and announce no later than 12 days in advance of the game, which game will be played on Sunday night and which game will be played on Monday night.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but i am going to the game, and according to the NFL it is not on the flex schedule. The Saints vs Packers will remain the same. This will be an extremely unpopular opinion but I firmly believe that the NFL needs to flex the Saints/Packers Monday Night game with the Texans/Chiefs game on December 23rd.

How? They have double the number of players on IR that we do. 13 of their 18 are defensive players. Their 3 best players in the front 7 are on IR. 5 of the 13 defensive players on IR were getting starter minutes. We have 4 players on the IR that were getting starter minutes.Comparing Detroit’s injuries to the Saints is like comparing apples to oranges.
I do agree this was likely to happen prior to Carr getting hurt, it's the NFL way.Why would they do that?
they are gonna start making bad calls here and there and make it to where Saints and Buccaneers are playing for the division on MNF.
where the bucs will blow the Saints out and lose in the first round of the playoffs.
I mean that's a lot for any team, but they haven't lost their best player at any point this season, and he also happens to be their most skilled and the leader of that offense. And they have a tonight of depth, so they've been able to mostly weather the storm. How? They have double the number of players on IR that we do. 13 of their 18 are defensive players. I get we were missing Carr and McCoy for a while, but they have had it just as bad if not worse. They just actually have depth, we do not.
Unless that is what you were saying, that they have had it worse. If so, I retract lol
