The overturned OPI on review was a very succinct and direct injustice from the NFL to New Orleans. (3 Viewers)

Agreed. However
No FU to the city of New Orleans could be bigger than the one in the NFCCG.

Last season they came into our home, ate our food, slept with our significant others, then defecated on the floor on their way out.

This was funny as heck and accurate. It was like watching an episode of cheaters, where your wife is sleeping with another man, in your bed and you can do nothing about it but watch.

I agree I believe this is the NFL just giving us the middle finger for the rule change.

Go back at look at the Hopkins PI challenge vs Baltimore. He was essentially tackled.

Also, this pass was not catchable. Not even close.

As inept as NFL officiating has become, do we really want a triumvirate of off-site officials spending time evaluating and discussing calls over a period of several minutes? It was cited that Coach Payton has suggested this, but I'm not in favor it.

While I want the calls to be made correctly (and I understand and accept the factor of human error to a certain degree), I really cannot fathom a game of 4+ hours. I'd run out of beer before it was over.

Those no calls and bs call are not human error. That's playing a dangerous game and making excuses for cheating refs. It's sick.

I really believe they're waiting until the playoffs to really let us have it.

Same agenda for the NFL as last year. Do whatever it takes to keep the Saints out of the Super Bowl.

Our games from here on in will be terribly officiated. The NFL will work hard to prevent us from getting home-field advantage and then will screw us as much as it takes to keep us from the Super Bowl.

I fear this challenge rule has damaged the game further.

i cannot see any difference in our challenge vs CAR challenge. I don’t buy into conspiracy but, I’m truly puzzled by two in the same game with such different rulings by the same crews. Refs should be made full time and held to a press conference after each game. Id love to see an hour long panel show of the most impactful calls of the week.

Your point is nonsensical. It's like blaming the gun for a murder. A rule is only as good as its enforcement. The ability to challenge PI calls is a good thing. It gives power to the teams to correct a wrong judgment call based on video evidence so that the NFL can't mistakenly put the WRONG TEAM in the Super Bowl again. This HOPE presupposes that the NFL WANTS TO GET IT RIGHT. I, for one, am certain that they do NOT WANT TO GET IT RIGHT. They want as many judgment calls as they can get so that they CAN CONTROL the outcomes of games especially which teams get into the biggest TV event of the year.

The rule is great. The people running the NFL are aholes.

For as much of an advantage as the Saints have at home with the crowd, the NFL has made it a disadvantage with the flags the Saints get at the dome. That’s 2 games in a row where the Saints are flagged almost relentlessly at home.
I’d be interested to see the home vs away numbers for penalties called on the Saints. I’d be absolutely shocked if those numbers didn’t show the Saints are flagged much more at home vs away.
