I think Jordan stole that from Ty Cobb. Many years after Cobb retired a reported asked him what he thought he would hit against today's pitchers (1950s I think)?

Cobb said that he thought he would hit about .305.

The reported then asked only .305? But, you are a lifetime .366 hitter.

Cobb responded yes but I'm 73 gosh darned years old.

It’s actually fun figuring out new things for the elf each night. And the fun the kids had with it was really rewarding.

i have a 16 yr old who still wants to find "Elfie" in the mornings. She knows we are "Elfie" but doesnt care.

I cant tell you how sweet that is. That there is still some innocence of being a child in my teenager.
