Ugh I really didn't do well over the holidays. Getting back on track now

This was my crack and the weird thing is I don't even like chocolate mint usually. Thank God the holidays are over

I'd planned on a fast. Haven't gotten there yet. OMAD and calories are restricted tho.

I did a five-day fast after Thanksgiving and got to a pretty good place. I blew all of that progress to shirt over the Christmas holiday. Gonna readjust my diet to something smarter and see if I can get my weight back to the range I'd like to be. Probably going to wait to do a fast to start Lent. Those are usually my most successful.

I didn't eat even a single cookie, not a bit of added sugar, barely any carbs, not a single drop of alcohol, over the entire holiday. Worst thing I ate was a few cheesy potatoes. It wasn't necessarily easy, especially avoiding the cookies, but very rewarding now that it's over.

Every time I was tempted I just focused on how awful I'd feel afterwards -- that and I know a small amount of anything never satisfies me. I don't want a cookie, I want a dozen cookies.

I was horrible over Christmas. Had the whole week off and my wife and kids baked A LOT. Just completed a 106 hour fast this morning. First time I ever went triple digits. Probably won’t do it again, but am doing fairly frequent 44-48 hour fasts.

I did lose over 12 lbs this week. I’ll see how much of that comes back as water weight this weekend as I start eating a little again.

My longest was 14 days. Probably not a good idea, but I had extenuating circumstances. I think it would be best to do under supervision if going that long.

I still like to get 7 day fasts a couple times a year since watching the video in here by Dr Jamnadas.

Back on the horse and just did a 24 hour fast. I was pretty bad in November and December

I am not that concerned with a long fasts anymore.....just going to do more frequent short ones

you forget i live in a 3rd world state
i've actually tried to steer my wife away from mostly wine consumption to edibles - it's been a process
Delta 8 is available pretty much anywhere in the country, and is an acceptable "legal" alternative.

I just ordered some from burmanshealthshop.com
Their stuff is all 3rd party tested and they have been having a sale on carts for as little as $10-$15. They usually run between $30-$45

I have discovered a new side effect. Been feeling cold a lot more than usual. At first, and it might be part of it, I attributed it to adjusting to the fat loss. Noticed that after lunch I am no longer cold.

Studies show that long-term calorie restriction with adequate nutrition is associated with lower body temperature in both lean and overweight adults (2Trusted Source, 3Trusted Source).

As a result of the lower calorie intake, the body compensates by lowering its temperature to save energy.

Furthermore, one study found that the more you restrict your calorie consumption, especially long term, the colder you’re likely to feel
