Here we go
Saints vs 49ers
My gut keeps going back and forth on this one and I have come to one conclusion.
What has played out throughout the regular season we will see in this game.
The incredible opportunistic 49ers will pick Drew once, and there will be one fumble by us. We won't get any turnovers. They will most likely win the turnover battle 2-0, and this is huge. Our defense once again has trouble creating turnovers on the road-- this is nothing new.
The 49ers will make it hard for us to run the ball and will harrass Brees a bit which will keep our offense in check, but considering the stellar play of our guards recently combined with the immergence of the rising star DLP, we will pop them for a few clutch big run gains.
Things that would concern me if I were a 49er fan. Alex Smith gets sacked quite a bit and they are not good in the red zone..these 2 factors will keep us in the game.
The crowd will keep our tackles slow out of the gates which will mean some trouble for pass protection, but we'll still put up 24 points at the end of the day.
Late FG wide left, Saints win.
