Pretty depressing.

I really thought LSU would win the game, but then yesterday I found out about some guy placing a 10 million dollar bet on Bama to cover. that made me question a lot of things and all day long I had a terrible feeling about the game before kickoff.. Oh, well. Still a great season though. Proud of my tigers.

A Saints victory over the 9ers will make me forget this loss really fast.

while this is true, lee did earn the right to at least play once jefferson proved to be the same qb he was last year.

This I agree with.

But I'm still happy I don't have to see Jefferson in an LSU uniform again. To be blunt, I don't trust the guy at all when moneys(spread) on the line..and I'm not talking about just his ability. I'm also just totally fed up with that horribly idiotic look on his face when something bad happens.

Lee had a 13:1 TD-INT ratio and was in the top 15 nationally in passing efficiency before two bad throws against bama got him benched for good. he's by no means anywhere close to being an all star and he would never be my QB of choice (over anyone other than Jefferson) but he can at least throw the ball. even when he was throwing picks as a freshman (some of which were off tips) LSU was still scoring 30+ a game.

For as bad as Lee is though, at some point they should have given him a shot in the game considering how horrible things were going at the qb position.

The way he was running those option plays also..it looked like he wasn't trying. It was disturbing to watch.
