My office has one of those dial timers in the men's room where you turn it when you walk in and you have a certain amount of time before it goes off. I underestimated the length of my visit and now I'm on the toilet typing this in the dark. I'm worried that someone is going to walk in and think I'm being friendly with myself.

lol I have a tenant in one of my buildings who that must happen to all the time, because he complains about it every time I ask him to renew his lease.

I've decided that all the bad news about the Saints has me kinda excited. The bad boy image could be kinda cool, if for no other reason it will piss off people more if we win the super bowl. Winning the super bowl is great, but making other fans sad about it makes the situation even more awesome.

Now we have moss in town? Sign him..

Hell, bring in Bill Romanowski as a consultant for our linebackers.

sign Hines ward

Is Oj Simpson out of jail yet? If not, find a way to get him out to coach running backs.

NOT being sarcastic here, perhaps about OJ, but the rest..hell, I'm embracing the dark side and just want us to win.

Doing this shop illustrates my feelings, but it makes me happy now thinking about it. Bring on the season!

I don't know guys I just have a bad feeling in my gut. The whole "Bounty" issue is one thing, and hearing comments from former/current players that it was/is happening league wide, I guess I have to accept that the Saints are the ones getting caught and will be made an example of. The thing that is sort of bothering me more though is Payton's connection with this scumbag Ornstein, and how far that potentially goes. Just reading about the stuff the guy has done in the past, I'm floored that Payton would let him so close to the team. I'm hoping my gut feeling is way off base...

Also, this pic amuses me:

If we pay Brees 23 mil a year he pretty much has to throw for 5k every year and has no room or excuse for any error he commits.

Digging some good news for a change. One of my fav Saints is locked in for another 5 years. :9:

Ok, so we lost Nicks...but If the Saints can land Grubbs I actually wouldn't be shocked if this ends up being a substantial upgrade.

Why?

1) Nicks has shown a character trait of really getting fat and happy..look back at 2010 when he was benched in preseason. How motivated do you think this guy will be after scoring a big contract?

2) Brees quick decision making skills in the pocket mean offensive lineman do not have to hold their blocks nearly as long. He's also cat like quick with eyes in the back of his head, his slide to one side or the other and "feel" for the rush are amazing. Grubbs had to protect for the lumbering Flacco who did not have this feel at all, and he also held on to the ball way too long by comparison. We might not feel the loss of Nicks at all considering Grubbs won't be asked to hold blocks nearly as long.

3)Grubbs is more likely a much better run blocker if for no other reason he had to do it a lot more. The Ravens were in many situations where they had to run and it was obvious, Grubbs was a key component here opening up holes.

If the Saints land Grubbs I'll sleep well after that. If not and we have to go with Tennant at guard? That will scare me. Funny how Nicks went to a dead end franchise like the Bucs. That's a team that is going nowhere. It's one thing to want a lot of money, it's quite another to sell out entirely with no chance of winning. That says a lot about his attitude. This is a guy that scratched the Super Bowl off of his bucket list...he doesn't care about winning anymore. We are better off without that kind of attitude.

I've kinda softened my stance on Colston. He really shut me up, eh? He really came into his own towards the end of last year and made teams pay for focusing on stopping Graham and Sproles.

He also wasn't too greedy, and he most likely could have signed for a little bit more elsewhere.

Now who IS in my personal dog house is Vilma. I haven't liked him since 2009. I want him out of here.
