that was one hell of a game.

ok, i'm not happy about the outcome of the game, but overall i enjoyed it..at least the second half. other than our run "defense" i was pleased with our efforts on both sides of the ball. that's a tough game to win for any team and we came very close, even after our mistakes.

i used to like sproles a lot with the chargers. now i LOVE him.

our run defense wasn't that bad statistically. they averaged less per carry than we did. i guess it was the timing. i thought our pass defense was horrendous though. then there was some shady playcalling at a few times and i thought ingram should've bounced it outside at the end. but oh well.. it's only one game and we still had a chance on the last play

now i'm glad i have sproles on my fantasy team but i was an idiot and didn't start him this week

We'll be fine. Our D looked bad, but most of that is because of the Packers razor sharp offense.

It only gets easier from here; that was the toughest game on our schedule.

The turnover was the difference in this one.

That fumble by Colston killed us.

We also have a defense, that for whatever reason, just can't generate the same turnovers they did when we made the Super Bowl run. As a matter of fact, our defense was terrible at that last year, and we had ZERO against GB.

Great game though, and the packers defense looked just as horrible as ours.

But a red hot Drew Brees and Aaron Rogers can make any defense look foolish.

I can forgive our defense for being torched by Rogers, he does that to teams. But..

Ellis is officially on my "you know what" list.

Rogers takes plays off and Ellis is just terrible. Wonderful combo and it almost makes me physically ill to watch them. It seems there is very little difference as to how these two play from preseason to the start of the regular season.

This, and I think if Moore and Smith had played, we would have won that game. Moore would have helped us in the red zone, and Smith to help get pressure on Rodgers. The playcalling was bad at times last night, but that'll get better as the season goes on. Not worried much at all.
