It could be affiliated/or them, for sure. He was in upstate Maine when he got taken.
But this group seems pretty well coordinated, no CRM, but wouldn't be surprised if they were aware of each other. Who knows about the serum they injected, they have been experimenting with stuff for quite awhile and must have found something that doesn't kill the host--at least within seconds.

That was a really good season finale, even with the plot-armor.
They really fleshed out the Daryl character imo, and I loved the Carol button scene.

Yeah I said that immediately to my wife...it made zero sense and they did a poor job of trying to explain it away. My only real gripe, but it stuck out.

I just hope they don't do this whole "god is working through the kid thing" or be like using mind tricks and feeling the future like a Jedi.. lol

Yea like this dudes entire arc has been MUST KILL DIXON, but just walks away because there’s a kid there? He could easily have offed the guards, offed Daryl and peaced out.

A couple weeks out from the season premiere. They have already begun filming S3--in Spain.

AMC Networks announced that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, the upcoming second season of the France-set Walking Dead spinoff starring Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, will premiere as part of a super-sized event on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, Sept. 29th from 8pm ET/PT to 10pm ET/PT. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Return, an hour-long special looking ahead to the new season, will precede the "La gentillesse des étrangers" season premiere, which follows Reedus' Daryl and McBride's Carol on their separate journeys thousands of miles apart.
