Things That Make You Feel Old (9 Viewers)

Two mornings ago, I looked down and to my right. Just LOOKING down and my %*(@#^& upper back started spasming. 600mg of motrin, half an hour of stretching and nights rest before it was finally gone. That's the kind of thing that makes me feel old. I WAS JUST LOOKING DOWN!!

Keep in mind, I workout almost every day and I put a lot of work into my upper back, Lower back, and shoulders.

Now I'm going to go yell at a cloud.

That time when everyone was smoking everywhere all the time

Planes, Trains, Automobiles, Restaurants, Funerals, Movie Theaters, Hotels, Hospitals, Church

Once ages ago a coworker asked me if I could drive him home (his car was in the shop, his wife usually came to pick him up but had to work late, and he was on the way)

I agreed, a few minutes into the drive he just lights up. I was furious, I pulled over and made him put it out and he had the nerve to get mad at me

We weren't friends or anything but we were friendly work acquaintances, but whatever we were was done after that

I don't think I've ever seen people light up in church. Now the parking lot was another matter.

I hated the entitlement of smokers. A friend of mine really could not understand why I, a lifetime non-smoker, would not let him light up in my brand-new car. he had recently picked up the habit as a 30-something and thought it was cool. I abhor smoking, and always have.

If you don't feel old yet, all you have to do is read the new tab on the Merriam-Webster website.

If you still don't feel old after reading that, then clearly you're not!

My 25 year old keeps me in the loop. I knew most of those.
