The only coaches under DA are the 3 first-time HC’s, Todd Bowles, Brandon Staley, Matt Eberflus and Josh McDaniels.

I don’t disagree entirely, though I do think Staley should be above the lot. Collapse or no, he took his team to the playoffs last year, and was a stone’s throw away the year before.

How pathetic we have a coach ranked as the 7th worst. He deserves the ranking until he proves himself this year. No excuse for him to win less than 11 games with the caliber of this team and a super weak division and schedule.

Winning seasons changes the perception of Allen really fast. He didn’t have enough healthy offensive talent in his first year as Saints HC to be more than a 7/8 win team. A good QB and healthy receiving talent would’ve been the difference in those blown lead games for him in ‘22.
He’ll be a top 20 HC at the end of 2023 if he produces a 10 win, division title team with this roster that’s capable of it. Maybe closer to top 15 if he wins a playoff game.

I disagree. We should have won 10 games last year. Injuries wasn't the only thing to be blamed. Dennis was timid in his coaching. He was scared to take chances.

McDaniel's is not a first time head coach. He was a fail HC in Denver when they had Tebow.

Say what you want but Tebow in the 4th quarter was glorious..lol
Also, Todd Bowles isn't a first time coach neither. He was the HC for the Jets some years back.

The personnel didn’t exist to take chances. WR depth was empty for most of the year with MT and Landry missing most games, and Shaheed not seeing action til midseason. Dalton had limitations as a QB. Winston possessed more talent, but not consistent in the coaches eyes to remain the starting QB.

We win the two Carolina games, two TB games and SF game in ‘22 if we had a QB like Carr who could lead TD drives on most possessions from the very start of the game to end.

We won 9 games with a worst team in 2021 and crap, if Jameis doesn't get injured, we probably win the South EASY. I'm always going to rest my hat on coaching, because truth is, with what we went through in 2021, CSP was freaking coach of the year and him with last seasons squad would have won 10 minimum. But I do agree; so many small elements to those games lost last season. A lot of people crap on my man Mark Ingram not going 1 more yard in the 2nd Bucs game but miss that red zone fumble in the first.
