but i graduated from Walker High School (in Livingston Parish). they didn't teach us large words like that. i think the biggest word they used related to politics was corruption.. lol

TIL, while watching the latest episode of Club Random- that Bill Maher has never seen the movie Back to the Future…. I just dont understand how anyone, esp anyone in the entertainment industry- could have avoided that film for the last four decades .

I learned how to do that years ago. Once you do it a few times, it becomes relatively easy.

TIL that I'm not as coordinated as I thought....

There was a subset of dancing starting in the late 50s that tried to deconstruct the habitual movement patterns of the body
Once you start isolating individual ‘articulators’ (body parts) you get tons of variation
Then you add modifiers on top of that (slow/fast, percussive/sustained, curved/straight, et al) and THEN you add musicality on top of that
Like imagine doing that same arm exercise but the right arm in a wide curve is staccato in 4/4 time while the left is folded at elbow but is doing smooth, sustained movement
All the while your legs are moving in waltz time

Then once you have that, throw in some articulation for the head and curves and arches for the spine
