TIL: Today I Learned... (16 Viewers)

Today i leaned there was a second cut of Highlander 2: The Quickening.
i saw Highlander 2 in the theater and remember thinking how terrible it was and haven't watched it since.
Today i was scrolling through the guide and i see Highlander 2: The Renegade Version.
i was like what is this.
In this 1995 version, they completely eliminated all mention of Zeist and them being aliens from that planet to making them from the past instead and being exiled into the future.
Although it didn't make it much better, it was definitely an interesting cut.. supposedly, this was the preferred version for home video release..

For all the Star Trek fans,. Today I learned that the actress that play Nurse Ratched in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" was the same actress that played a religous Bajorian zealot in some episodes of "Depp Space Nine". The part was very similarly played for her to be a birch. I always thought she looked familiar and this while watching "deep Space Nine" I saw the name in the opening credits so looked it up.

Edit: It seems she won the Oscar for Best Actress for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".

Scariest "villian" in the whole Star Trek universe.

I knew Louise Fletcher won the Oscar for Nurse Ratched like a billion years ago, give or take.
