Amazing family story.

Dad was a closed book on his past. Most of what I know came from mom or his brother. Dad did tell me once out of the clear blue that he’d been married prior to mom. Sadly, his first wife took her life after 11 years of marriage because she could not have children.

Dad said the suicide note read “Dear Johnny, I love you so much but I just couldn’t take it anymore”. My father was never close to the same afterward according to his brother.
