Titan fans NOT happy about the no call on the forced fumble (1 Viewer)

We would be too.

I do think it was a good no call in that WR now start to curl up to brace for hit, which changes target angles and keeps leading to these situations..

But after 2018, I. Don't. Care. Lol

Not going to be popular with this opinion but we would be too. I have seen too many thread about refs and inconsistent calls and we got away with one honestly. I am so surprise they didn't call that one. Base on my understanding, he may have hit him with his shoulder but any contact to the other player's head or neck will always, regardless if you lead with your shoulder or not, will draw a flag. That should of been a flag. Down vote it if you want but you know if it was the other way around, you guys would be furious too.

It was a clean hit..

Don't pay any attention to them
I saw some idiot post the Saints fan base is the most obnoxious, I wish a 2nd Hurricane Katrina would wipe them out, or something like that. Man, what type of forked up people live in TN? Also, anyone who went to the game, how was the atmosphere there?
In a lot of NFL cities the definition of obnoxious, rude or offensive fan behavior is just to show up in your colors and cheer for your team. That triggers anger and abuse.

Chicago, Oakland, Philly, Seattle. I used to live in DC and went to that 2009 Gabe and saw it there too with insults and and abuse from the Sins fans that day when they thought they were going to win.

Here's why it was the correct call.

  • A receiver attempting to catch a pass who has not had time to clearly become a runner. If the player is capable of avoiding or warding off the impending contact of an opponent, he is no longer a defenseless player
  • The intended receiver of a pass in the action during and immediately following an interception or potential interception. If the player is capable of avoiding or warding off the impending contact of an opponent, he is no longer a defenseless player.
Note: Violations of this provision will be enforced after the interception, and the intercepting team will maintain possession.
Inherently, because the player was ruled to have made a football move, and clearly did, he became a runner. At which point a shoulder to helmet hit is not a penalty.

I've written about how badly I was treated in Atlanta. And if it would have been heckling in the wake of a loss, I could understand being salty to the opposing teams fans. But these were fans in a Failcon WIN that I wasn't even trying to engage in ANY talk with, let alone trash talk, only because I was wearing Saints gear and the Saints lost.

It probably should be a penalty based on how those plays have been called. If it was against the saints people on the board would be furious.

When the saints were robbed time and time again other fan bases were calling us salty for complaining. Now we are calling them salty. I think the NFL will never change while the fans only think about their team winning don't matter what. All fans should be honest about bad calls and unite against the refs instead of calling each other salty.
