Titan fans NOT happy about the no call on the forced fumble (2 Viewers)

How about the horse collar on -- was it Taysom? (Edit: Kamara. Sorry!) -- that wasn't a horse collar.

I've written about how badly I was treated in Atlanta. And if it would have been heckling in the wake of a loss, I could understand being salty to the opposing teams fans. But these were fans in a Failcon WIN that I wasn't even trying to engage in ANY talk with, let alone trash talk, only because I was wearing Saints gear and the Saints lost.
The Falcons fan base are the worst. They really can't talk because we've owned them since Payton came along.

…….. Also, anyone who went to the game, how was the atmosphere there?

There were a TON of Saints fans there. The WHO DAT chant broke out on several occasions and echoed across the stadium. That was my 2nd time to see the Saints in that stadium and it's always a great environment. On this visit we were pretty much ignored but in the previous visit we were chatted up by Titans fans around us. It was a good well-behaved crowd.

You cant have possession, make a football move, take 2 steps and then be a defenseless receiver.

Its very simple. If its a fumble, you aren't defenseless. Defenseless has to occur before you have had possession long enough to fumble.

I think the problem is that we are so used to the hundreds of protection penalties that we see someone lower the boom and its like its too gruesome to just be a damn good football play. Or maybe Tannehill shouldn't have hung his guy out to dry like that. I actually applaud the officials in this one, as should fans of all 32 teams. That proved that football is still a contact sport. It proved that you can legally defend with aggression. I guarantee you more than half of the ref crews would've thrown the flag there based on how it looked and not based on what actually happened.

Back in the day, 'going over the middle' was a thing few guys had the kahunas to do. Glad to see that it can still be a thing.

Do you mean the one that was flagged, then they picked up the flag? That was Alvin.

I didn’t think that was a house collar. On replay, it looked like he had Alvin’s hair and gold chain.

Alvin, bruh, leave the chains in your locker, dude. And get a breakaway weave — leave defenders holding a clump of hair while you streak off to the end zone.

It was Kamara and yes that was a horse caller not at first but he moved his hand to the back of his jersey to the neck and it became one. They should of kept the penalty instead of picking the flag up.

Agreed. I was there. Several Who Dat! chants broke out. Nothing the Saints fans did was anything to whine about.

The Titans fans are unusual / spoiled. The first two years in the stadium here they went to the AFC championship game and the Superbowl. This team can make the playoffs but the stadium was only 3/4 full yesterday.

Don't tuck your head to where the defender has absolutely nothing else to hit. Simple.

If you have enough time/thought process to lower your head that far, it's on you. In fact, I'd say you are using *your* helmet as a weapon.
