The guy was literally part of the coaching search and jumped.
That tells me we already have our guy and it just needs to be made official.

Tell us how he is wrong? The idea that a personnel advisor accepts a significantly higher position to become an asst GM means he jumping off of a sinking ship is incredibly stupid.
I don't think there is anything being reported to support that. There have been no in person interviews with the any of the remaining candidates and if it was one of the guys they already interviewed they'd just announce him. That tells me we already have our guy and it just needs to be made official.

I don't know and neither do you. Them "already having our guy" is just something you made up.Is everything that goes on behind the scenes reported?

What has been reported is that Zeigler was a big part of the search that isn't complete and he bailed to the Titans before it was done. If McCarthy or the 3 others that have been interviewed in person were the guy, they can be hired right now and they haven't been. If It's Kellen Moore or Kliff Kingsbury then he left before they interviewed. Those are facts.

On what planet is someone you have employed as an “advisor” leaving for an Assistant General Manager job, an actual job with a title and likely significant pay bump, a sign of something bad within your organization?
I'm not saying I blame him for going to better job but he did leave in the middle of the coaching search.Oh come on man. If this was any other team we would be talking about how people are poaching good talent from them and there was no way they could keep Ziegler as a glorified scout when another team is offering the Assistant GM role. He wasn't going to stay here so he could keep sitting in on coach interviews and turn down an Assistant GM job.

As far as his scouting, he hasn't been here long and hasn't really even had a chance to have an impact. Fuaga was a solid pick so far, but the rest are still unknown. Free agency wasn't anything special. But I'm not aware of his particular role in that regard other than being part of the team that did the job.
