N/S TNF: Vikings vs Rams (1 Viewer)

That face mask no call was junk. In a league where the goal is to protect the QB’s and you miss that? Right, keeping the Rams and the massive LA market interested trumps all other goals. Unbelievable but at least it happened to the Vikings.

on the first page of the thread we were talking about the no call Reggie face mask when we played the Vikings in ‘08. Karma?

Yeah, but the Rams are the team that benefits ONCE AGAIN from the, Nope, nope, didn't see a thing ref.

The refs were not in a position to see that penalty. You could easily see that the back judge was blocked by another player.
His view was initially blocked by a player. After watching the replay he had a clear look at it before Darnold hit the ground and the hand was still on the face mask.

No matter what, the NFL should have the ways and means to get these type calls or no calls right.

It looks like the ref even went to reach for the flag too and decided not to throw it.

I know they got Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp back. It's amazing what having healthy receivers that your offense runs through out there. It's like maybe injuries DO make a difference.
They absolutely do make a difference. And people pretending they don’t are insufferable, lol.

Absolutely horrible to miss that facemask call. That said, the Rams would still have needed to go 80 yards for a TD plus get the two point conversion. The proper call would/should have afforded them that opportunity though.

And the Lions hangover effect strikes again. Every team that has faced Detroit has lost the following week (except for the Cowboys who followed their loss with a bye), including some pretty wild road upsets of the Broncos over the Bucs (26-7) in week 3 and the Giants over the Seahawks (29-20) in week 5.
