What's wrong with being a blogger?Kollman informed? Isn't he basically a blogger. Does he have any scouting or related experience?

My own view is that on the balance of probabilities, he's going to be closer to a Robin, 6-8 sacks a year guy. Probably the two best physical comps are Davenport and Clowney, and both are in that Robin category. Neither ever reached double digit sack totals, though came close a few times. Different athletic profile but Will Smith was in that same category and also had a higher 3 cone. If Foskey is a consistent, dependable and available edge getting 6-8 sacks per year this is a win. Time will tell. I suppose I have some optimism for potentially greater output because he did better than that in college. It's a different animal with a real variance in terms of quality of opponents, but without spending days reviewing film and understanding why, I'll just say it's possible he could do slightly better.Foskey has future Robin potential.
Payton Turner has future Batman potential and
Cam is still Batman
I have no idea if this guy knows anything but specifically on being a blogger, I dedicate myself to being a basketball player but it doesn’t mean I know what I’m doing.Yeah, but he dedicates himself to this. He has knowledge. More than most people on this board.
Disagree respectfully,I have no idea if this guy knows anything but specifically on being a blogger, I dedicate myself to being a basketball player but it doesn’t mean I know what I’m doing.
If you’re decently articulate, have a general understanding of the game and know the catch phrases, it’s easy to fool the general public.
Hell, now you can pay to go to an online school and while they teach you what everything mean and what to look for, more importantly, you learn all the catch phrases and terminology…
There is no substitute for actually doing the job… he’s a blogger that knows football, not an actual scout.
Who said it must be gospel? I think is can and should be discussed why he is wrong (or why he is right) or I would not have even posted. But most people here are very defensive when it comes to criticism to saints picks.I guess if Brett says it, it must be gospel.
Let's see how it play out on field. I blog as well but I don't get to what tiers prospect are in because anybody can pop if they have the right coaching.
Because a lot of treat it that way sometimes. But that's how I see it though.Who said it must be gospel?
I just hope young Batman learns how to use his toys better this season.Foskey has future Robin potential.

I appreciate what you’re saying, everyone can be wrong but that suggesting that if me and a professional stock trader get it wrong that we’re the same… Real scouts don’t go to school… they’re brought up thru the ranks, around professional evaluators. I worked with a professional scout for years and there are layers no one even considers…Disagree respectfully,
Scouts can be wrong too.
In regards to online education, the same can apply to traditional schooling.
I let Elias to answer, but as I understand it, he is writing about the positions they play, not the quality of the players.Actually clarifying, are you serious about Turner?
All good manI appreciate what you’re saying, everyone can be wrong but that suggesting that if me and a professional stock trader get it wrong that we’re the same… Real scouts don’t go to school… they’re brought up thru the ranks, around professional evaluators. I don’t consider myself a scout but I realize that ranking players 1 thru 100 isn’t show professionals do it… and none of them paid $1200 to become scouts…
