To Brett Kollman Foskey is a tier 3 edge rusher (1 Viewer)

Disagree respectfully,
Scouts can be wrong too.
In regards to online education, the same can apply to traditional schooling.
I appreciate what you’re saying, everyone can be wrong but that suggesting that if me and a professional stock trader get it wrong that we’re the same… Real scouts don’t go to school… they’re brought up thru the ranks, around professional evaluators. I worked with a professional scout for years and there are layers no one even considers…

I don’t consider myself a scout but I realize that ranking players 1 thru 100 isn’t show professionals do it… and none of them paid $1200 to become scouts…

Actually clarifying, are you serious about Turner?
I let Elias to answer, but as I understand it, he is writing about the positions they play, not the quality of the players.

So Turner should inherit Jordan's position, as the primary pass rusher, and Foskey should play on the opposite side.

Right. I dont know how you separate quality with 'inheriting' a position though. Davenport flashed why the Saints drafted him. He would manhandle tackles at times. His issue was availability. Last year, he just flat out struggled. Now hes gone. Flip side, Turner hasnt shown anything. Being a 1st round pick might create some expectation that youll take hold of your position - but 2 years without any consistency, or even the ability to dress in your uniform on Sundays, says you have a BOATLOAD of work to do. I think Turner is closer to being released than he is inheriting primary pass rusher duties.

If you told me I could keep Foskey or Turner - Id go with Foskey without him ever playing a down in the NFL, just because I know what Ive seen from Turner. Foskey couldnt possibly be worse than a many, many week healthy scratch.
