Not sure why I never got into it, maybe becuase it seemed like a wannabe sequel to Goodfellas.. i felt it should have tried to be a little more different , not so much a ripoff with the same cast/crew .

I like any mafia/mob movie regardless if it's good or not. There's something about all of the snarky banter that I love.

As someone who is half-Sicilian, i concur that i like most of them.. and i didnt think Casino was bad at all, but i didnt love it.. i also like Donnie Brasco and Carlito’s Way, but i *love* Goodfellas .

Probably my most controversial opinion is Casino is better than Good Fellas

Ur entitled to ur opinion of course, no matter how misguided it may be….. i just dont get how someone could feel that way, considering most would agree that Casino was pretty much a facsimile of Goodfellas.. You could claim that Casino “perfected” what Goodfellas did first, but again, i dont see how a thinking person could come to that conclusion .
