No. Far and Away and Eyes Wide Shut

I think that Far and Away and Eyes Wide Shut are both underrated flicks.. Last Samurai might be the only Cruise film from that era, let’s call it mid-80s to early 2000s, that i didnt care for.. though i never saw Legend.. and while Cruise’s performance in Magnolia was the second-best of his career IMO, i thought it was only a good movie, not great .

I hate that two Tom Cruise movies are movies I will never not watch. But it's true.

I hate that I may be the only person that can't stand Tom Cruise, I equate him to the male version of Jane Fonda.....comically overacting almost every role I've seen him in.....with the exception of "Born on the 4th of July", which I hate, again, to admit he was great in that one movie.....

I don't care for him either.

Excellent call excellent movie
Probably his best performance

Born on the Fourth of July has entered the chat…. Seriously, he gives a masterclass in that movie.. like Magnolia though, i think Born on the Fourth is a good movie, but a bit too overly long in places to reach greatness.. Magnolia’s problem (i feel) is that the ending - spoiler alert- with the frogs raining down from the sky really took away from the movie.. i realize it’s supposedly an actual phenomena, i just didnt care for it and thought it took away from the overall tone of the film .

I did like the LOTR trilogy, but the Hobbit wasn't as good, to me. I guess i felt over saturared.
Although i loved the Animated version of the Hobbit back in the day better, you know nostalgia and all..

The Hobbit is only about half as long as any of the three Lord of the Rings books, yet they stretched it out into three movies. Way too much extra padding.
