Trade back into the 1st. (2 Viewers)

Do you think it would be wise to try to trade back into the 1st round so we could get a elite OT and WR? Even if cost a 1st and another pick next year?
I would not do it as there are some quality WR's and OL who will be available in the 2nd. I would, however, if a player drops we really like at either position try to move up higher in the 2nd by giving up one of our 3rd round choices.

How could anyone know whether it is a good idea before any selections have been made? It is completely dependent on what player or players are available.

Unless we go 1-15.... We aren't going to be in contention for rookie QB next year
Then we won't need a QB...but if we're a meandering 7-9 on the strength of lackluster QB play then we'd trade up using 2023's 1st and probably 24s 1st. But that's all dependent on if WInston stinks up the joint...which I don't think he will.
