TruSaint's Mock Draft 2.0

There is definitely a chance he does, who do you have us taking at 9?

Tmac / Jeanty / Trade back for Warren (maybe even take him at 9 if the Saints have him as the BPA)

And I see no way Graham makes it 6 or 7...

What's really pissing me off is... In many of my realistic mocks.... I have the Panthers taking Tmac 1 pick before us... I mean, how many damn times does this have to happen to us? FML

Graham has as much of a chance of falling to 9 as Tmac does, if not more.

Disagree... Jags or Jets would jump on him before then, if not a team with a higher pick. Tmac has a chance... But as I stated above, I think CAR will flock us out of him 1 pick ahead...

I think Carter falls to 8 and that’s who the panthers take personally, if we land one of Graham Carter or tmac I’d be fine with that

Man I’d be so dang happy with Tate. We suck at guard. Well, we suck almost everywhere but we really suck at OG.

Love the first pick and Watts as well. He will be long gone by then tho.

I did one using this site. They all received an A or A+ on each pick which means there is no way we are doing anything close to this lol

9 - Abdul Carter Edge PSU (I do not think he will be there but he was on this mock)

40 - Walter Nolen DL Ole Miss

71 - Elic Ayomanor WR Stanford (doubt he is still available but he was here)

91 - Cam Skatteboo RB Arizona State

110 - Lathan Ransom S Ohio State

128 - Jake Majors IOL Texas

182 - Justin Walley CB Minneosta (would be excited to get him, I taught at the HS in D'Iberville when he was there)

251 - Xavier Truss OT Georgia

254 - Elijah Arroyo TE Miami
I like this. Only thought is we really need a guard and not sure if Majors would slide to guard or not. I know he's a center, but maybe he could do it

I like Warren, but 9 is way too high for him. If we traded back to 15 to 20 I like him there, but not 9.

So more ~16 point offensive outputs... and a DT that will never make it to 9.... Cool.
Graham has as much chance of making to #9 as T-Mac . I'm fine with either. Graham @ 9 and Harris in the 2nd. Or T-Mac #9 and Grant in the 2nd and Fanning with the 1st 3rd. If T-Mac, Graham or Carter are gone , trade down 8-10 spots and pick up a 2nd and a 4th and pick Warren around 15-19 and Grant and Harris in the 2nd

Oh really, the last few big boards i've seen they have had him in that range. In about a month I'll do another one with updated projections.
Yeah that's the thing about picking in the top 10, you never know how things are going to shake out. Especially at this point in the process. We've seen guys projected to go in the top 10 at this point in the year and by the time the draft rolls around they aren't even close. Breese comes to mind. He was pretty universally saw as a top 5-10 pick before his last year at Clemson. The Saints got him at 29th. You just never know.

What is so encouraging about having this #9 pick is that several great prospects are on the board during these simulations. Our cloud of players is going to be nice. Not just in the 1st but the 2nd is looking promising as well. This is going to be a good offseason for us draft nerds.

He wants Jeanty @9 he's even take Warren @9 just no OL or DL EVER
We've taken OL and DL in the first in the last 7 drafts and 9 of the last 10 with the exception being Lattimore. We drafted Olave in the first one year but still got Penning just a handful of picks later.

Meanwhile our supporting cast for Carr/Rattler, is a 30 year old RB who can't handle the load by himself, 35 year old FB/TE/RB/QB who can't stay healthy, Olave who is best served as a #2 if you want him to stay healthy, Shaheed/MVS as deep threats who both missed time, Shaheed a lot of it and a meh TE.

I mean maybe he's not wrong... Our cupboard is bare. We're trotting out UDFA's by the halfway point and then wondering why Carr is getting hurt and asking our 5th round QB to move an offense with nothing to work with.

Not only would I be taking Jeanty at #9, I'd be trading up from the 2nd to land Warren. We absolutely need someone who can make contested catches and he's great at it with elite hands.
