TruSaint's Mock Draft 2.0 (1 Viewer)

Will Xavier Watts be available that late? He is a 2nd round project at latest with most that I have seen

I was about to comment the same. The guy just might be the 2nd best ball hawking safety in the draft behind Starks. Many have him going in the 1st.

I would much prefer Tyler Warren than Graham @9. But that’s assuming he’s a top 15 pick. Warren’s projection is kind of all over the 1st round right now from 10 to 25.

We've taken OL and DL in the first in the last 7 drafts and 9 of the last 10 with the exception being Lattimore. We drafted Olave in the first one year but still got Penning just a handful of picks later.

Meanwhile our supporting cast for Carr/Rattler, is a 30 year old RB who can't handle the load by himself, 35 year old FB/TE/RB/QB who can't stay healthy, Olave who is best served as a #2 if you want him to stay healthy, Shaheed/MVS as deep threats who both missed time, Shaheed a lot of it and a meh TE.

I mean maybe he's not wrong... Our cupboard is bare. We're trotting out UDFA's by the halfway point and then wondering why Carr is getting hurt and asking our 5th round QB to move an offense with nothing to work with.

Not only would I be taking Jeanty at #9, I'd be trading up from the 2nd to land Warren. We absolutely need someone who can make contested catches and he's great at it with elite hands.

Yes! This all day....

I did one using this site. They all received an A or A+ on each pick which means there is no way we are doing anything close to this lol

9 - Abdul Carter Edge PSU (I do not think he will be there but he was on this mock)

40 - Walter Nolen DL Ole Miss

71 - Elic Ayomanor WR Stanford (doubt he is still available but he was here)

91 - Cam Skatteboo RB Arizona State

110 - Lathan Ransom S Ohio State

128 - Jake Majors IOL Texas

182 - Justin Walley CB Minneosta (would be excited to get him, I taught at the HS in D'Iberville when he was there)

I did another one just for the fans that wanted a little more offense.

I was able to trade down a few times and get lots of picks. I ended up with 7 top 100 picks and 20 over all. This is how you create a youth movement and fix the salary cap. Trade down and get more picks. I shored up the lines with the first 2 picks and then drafted a bunch of playmakers, got some fresh young legs for competition at LBer, and some depth at DT and O-line. I should have done more at edge, but I was offensive minded.

While I am certain that 20 picks is unrealistic, trading back for more picks is what I want to see us do at 9.

These mock draft simulators got yall living in draft day lala land
Not really, just interesting to do. It also cannot be la la land because the players are actually going to be drafted. We are aware that we will not be actually drafting them ourselves. Does that make you the one in la la land? lol

graham at 9 is pretty wishful thinking. not impossible but... not very likely imo.
I agree, maybe he a gets a DUI soon and he drops, joking aside i think he is top 3 player in this draft. A block you build around for your franchise. Moving up to 6 or 7 im all for it. Maybe cost ya a 2nd and a later pick like a 5th after swapping 2's. Worth it for him. Safest pick in the draft.

I mean it has really skewed how some people think about the draft. Top 5 pick at 9? Every time. Trade back to 20 and still draft a top 10 guy? You betcha. Draft an early day 2 guy in the middle of round 3? Boy have I got some good news for you.

And then come draft day you got people for real talking about how these mock drafts went, who was available and who wasn't on "my board" as if any of this is real.

Fantastic mock, Prince is an absolute stud pass rusher, the run D is questionable but he can flat out get to the QB.

He reminds me a lot of Jared Verse.

Right, I understand completely. However, for example, on the mocks I do I cannot control who the computer picks. Well, I could, but it would take hours. So, the computer makes its picks and then I make mine with what's left.

I cannot speak for everyone, but I simply do one now and again just for fun. I usually always post something like "I know this won't happen"

There is not many people that watch more college games than I do, and yet I do not know nearly enough about some of the draft options for us and other teams. This gives me a resource to use to find out about other players or names of other options and then to be able to research some info about them.

I like how you address the lines with the first three picks.
