Spears would be an excellent addition. He put the team on his back and single handedly beat USC -- an incredible performance and he did it all season. The young man is a special athlete and runner. The real question is where his draft value lies for each team. I think some team is gonna fall in love and grab him in the 2nd round, but could certainly understand him dropping down as low as the 4th due to previous injuries. If we got him in the 3rd, I'd be 100% on board.

I had him and DeWayne McBride being the 2 best RBs in the draft when all is said and done. Others are getting the spotlight because they went to bigger named schools but these 2 men are dawgs on the field.

I'd say it helped keep him off the radar but it appears to be too late for that. Other than QB a talented RB could be the next best thing for this offense.

That's good way to look at it.

He may be there in the 3rd round...but I'm afraid that he'll get selected before us in the 3rd.
I wouldn't be upset if we took him in the 2nd rd.
 
I was listening to NFL radio today before the Senior Bowl. They had the guy from Zebra player tracking on there and he said there was 3 players who reached 20 mph this week with pads on. Spears and Musgrove were 2 of them. I forgot who the other one was (I think it was the CB out of South Carolina), but that puts those 2 guys as homerun threats. I wouldn't mind drafting both Spears and Musgrove to add more speed and playmaking ability to the offense.

His speed just seems to be at a different level. Makes him look like he's gliding when he takes off. Love the potential but worried about size. AK was 20-25 pounds more in his draft year, thats a big deal. I honestly don't know a lot about Tyjae. Is there room to add some weight/muscle to his frame with out slowing him down? Is he driven to do so?

I view him as more of a Sproles type RB
