Man, I would LOVE to see us draft him! However, from what I’ve read, most think taking him in da 2nd rd is too high, but he’ll likely b off the board by the time we select in da 3rd rd.

However, wit AKs looming suspension, drafting a RB may not b a “must”, but it’s definitely a “need”. So every time I see folk talk about some RB we should draft in da 3rd r later, I’m like, “Ok, but is he better than Tyjae?” So far - n my “homerism” aside- my answer’s been…

So, will da Saints pull da trigger, n perhaps take him in da 2nd rd? Probably not. But I’m thinking they may have a “sweet spot” in mind for him, where they may package their 3rd rd pick n another future pick to move up to get him.

Also per interviews they either sound super disinterested in him/have some of the least contact or interest in him. However mayyybe theyre just playing the game, since in the past they draft people they have minimal/no visits with, so hoping its a smokescreen...

Most sites that I'm looking at project him as a 5th rounder. They cite the 2 ACL surgeries and "slower" 40 yd speed as reasons.
If he's still around in the 4th, I think you gotta pull the trigger.
