N/S Tyreek Hill arrested for traffic violation by stadium in Miami on gameday (Hill played) [Reckless driving & seatbelt charges dismissed] (2 Viewers)

No wonder there’s so many people having problems with the police. Ignorance is everywhere. How hard is it to listen?
The problem with "just listen" is that Police are allowed to lie to you. Did you know that? "You have to talk to me or I can arrest you." That's a lie, but a cop can say it if he wants to. "You have to let me in your house even though I don't have a warrant."

Do you want to just let ego-filled cops go about their day thinking that "if only everyone would just listen to me" ? That's how people get shot when an acorn falls. It's also how innocent people end up being found guilty of offenses they didn't commit.

Off the topic at hand but I have decided I will never take a lie detector test. If it's not something that can exonerate in court, not taking it. They can lie to you on whether you "passed" it or not and thus only use it as a tool. They can't DO anything to you if you decline it but, of course, they won't tell you that.

Hopefully this will go to civil court and if they crossed the line in the slightest maybe they get hammered hard...of course that doesnt help the situation as many police officers already have massive problems with classism.

But as far as im concerned any non-federal-military entity that refers to me as a "civilian" has my full disdain.

Bottom line for me is you're in a Maclaren, you're a block away from the stadium on game day, you're one of all the football players who are all driving to the stadium at around the same time a couple hours before gametime, no way the cops shouldn't have KNOWN who he was. Stoopid.

I thought the police over reacted, but as someone who's spent some quality time handcuffed in the back of police cruisers, I promise you it doesn't take much to set most cops off, no matter who you are...

I remember when there were a lot of debates/arguments that got “heated” during the off-season, regarding topics of our HC, OC, AK41, MT etc. We all couldn’t wait for the season to start and possibly start winning games, so we could go back to being normal. Yet, Tyreek had to re-ignite the arguing and name calling. SMDH

If I've been disrespectful to anyone it was unintentional and I apologize. Go Saints

It also doesn't help that many cops are on TRT or other testosterone elevating substances and are walking around with 1000+ testosterone levels. That this sort of thing doesn't happen more often is surprising.

There definitely seemed to be a sense of entitlement to TH. Why he didn't keep his window down was a little wierd. He was being a bit rude to the police, but last I checked that was not a crime. Arresting someone for no reason is a crime though.

But the jump from "put your window down" to pulling him out of the car seemed to be pretty quick.

The police are supposed to be the professionals in this situation, escalating it like they did was extremely unprofessional. "Mr Hill please keep your window down for the next couple minutes," would not have hurt the officer and deescalated the situation quickly. It gives police a bad look and then they wonder why the community is uncooperative with them.

Nobody is listening to anyone else. Tyreek should have complied with the officer's commands. The officer/officers were too hot-headed and the other person who stopped should have complied with the officer's commands.

Whole lotta stupidity by everyone IMHO.

Telling someone to roll down their window isn't a lawful command. Also demanding someone get out of their car depends on jurisdiction. Some areas and under certain circumstances it's lawful and others it isn't. People have got to lose this idea that when a public servant tells you to do something, with attitude, it's automatically a lawful command and you must comply. People have good and lawful reason to not want to roll down their windows or exit their vehicles when dealing with police goons who have no desire whatsoever to use their de-escalation training. Your license and registration can be shown on the window and that's all they need.

I heard none of that in the video. Move along.
