So calling people clueless and brainwashed is a perfectly reasonable thing to do? I think if he talked to you that way you might have a different take.
Well I don’t condone name calling but in it’s simplest form clueless is like ignorance - just not having the facts. I wouldn’t have said it that way but you don’t have to get bent out of shape.

I was speaking more to the wisdom comment you made. Because actually if I say “I don’t know any more than you do but at least I know that I don’t know which means I do know - that is wisdom. None of us have all of the facts anymore than any of us know more than the coaches of our team know. For any of us to pretend that we know more football than even the worst coach in the NFL, that’s laughable. And yet we see things stated as though that is a fact week end and week out. If there were not pros and cons with every decision, they would not be decisions.

Truth hurts. I know. Took me a long time to realize I was clueless and brainwashed. There are areas I am not clueless in. In those, I try to maintain proficiency. But I admit it's a battle I'm not winning as much as I like.

My mind has never really held much grasp on connotation. I get the big ones from experience, but honestly the receiver interprets it how they want. I know what I mean when I say things. If someone doesn't care to ask for clarification then I don't bother to explain it because it's pointless as they don't want to hear.
