They're gonna be disappointed when they find out all of those medals are actually plastic.

True story. My plant closed down in part because galvanized steel prices spiked after Russia invaded Ukraine and my company’s steel design couldn’t compete any longer with concrete prices, which was the foundation of our competition.I think you may be underestimating the importance of UKR. The vast…vast wealth of resources in Ukraine are estimated to be in the trillions. If russia controls UKR, they will use them to strangle the world economy. Ukraine is very important to the strategic wellbeing of Europe and the US.
You must have missed the lithium mines and contract to supply all of Europe's transformation from ICE to battery vehicle. No, I don't think I am, especially not with respect to Taiwan's relative importance to US security. In addition, if Russia does control Ukrainian resources one day, they're certainly not going to "use them to strangle the world economy". They are and will continue to be absolutely desperate for foreign capital...to fund rearmament for another push into eastern Europe in 5-10 years, if nothing else.
Keep in mind, I'm not advocating letting Ukraine go it alone in the slightest. I agree that entry of North Korean troops should elicit a move to take the gloves off of Ukraine to strike anywhere in Russia with everything they have at their disposal. I'm simply of the mind that such an entry should not trigger the active involvement of NATO ground troops (or certainly not American men and women) into the front lines of Ukraine.
Australian mining company European Lithium is in the process of securing two promising lithium deposits in Ukraine, aiming to become the largest lithium supplier in Europe and an essential part of an integrated European battery supply chain.
The two deposits, discovered and subsequently explored in the 1980s and 1990s, are located in Shevchenkivske in the Donetsk region and in Dobra in the Kirovograd region of western Ukraine. Both sites are said to be “under-explored” according to modern methods and “contain significant expected resources”, according to a statement by the Australian company, who have so far made a name for themselves in Europe mainly as the owner and operator of a lithium mining project in Wolfsberg in Carinthia, Austria. A “phased acquisition” of the two deposits has now been agreed, with the transaction expected to close in November 2022.
I am aware. You must have missed the lithium mines and contract to supply all of Europe's transformation from ICE to battery vehicle.

Beyond that titanium and beryllium are both major military strategic resources found in Ukraine.
Today I see this, it's interesting in that O'Brien appears to be considering that North Korean threat might be real.
I've been looking for any kind of proof that they are there, I haven't seen it yet. I guess I will have to wait and see.
O'Brien appears to have seen those videos of troops being issued gear, and has taken that at face value. I saw that and thought, that's not proof of anything. It was a narrative with some video that didn't show anything to support that narrative.
Some of the reports I've seen about it have been outlandish insofar as being nothing more than unsupported narrative.
I still smell propaganda even today.
I do think a few North Koreans would be there because some of their missiles are there. I think there have even been a few of them killed.
I would think a few of our people are in Ukraine as well advising Ukraine on our weapons systems. That's not the same thing as this latest narrative about them in mass filling spots on the combat line which I at this point I doubt is happening.
But I might be wrong. It's not a firm position, I will have to wait and see.
