This is what incoming Storm Shadows sound like.

none intercepted.

This is what was struck with at least 8 Storm Shadows- looks like it was a really high value target to fire up to 12 missiles at it.

Same video - Dmitri translated

One thing is for sure. Russians swearing like drunk sailors is the norm over there, lol.

You don't need a translation.

Hmm. Bluff?

Outfitted with conventional warhead seems like a waste of money if that is the angle.

Also, striking distance for this ICBM is far past Kyiv. If launched, it would seem to overshoot Kyiv and end up in Poland.

Hopefully UAF has some PAC-3 for the Patriot if Russia does decide to "test" its new ballistic missile at Kyiv.

Can Patriot intercept? I think RUS ICBM has a much higher altitude than the Patriot and also higher mach on decent. It'd have to be shot down at launch possibly.

Pac-3 has 118,000ft altitude- so roughly 22 miles- its used in the THAAD arsenal and its kinetic- no warhead.

obviously you are catching it on re-entry and yes, Mach 15 or so on re-entry would present a challenge. But thats really the only defense available ( outside catching at launch )

So maybe they think twice/give them pause to use?
