I think Humphries would be a good option. Good slot guy, did his best work with Jameis that got him a contract with the Titans, likely wouldn't cost more than the vet minimum given the 1-year contract he took with the Commanders last season.
I believe so. The Titans gave him a big contract. Last year he signed a one-year deal for $1.2M for the Commanders and now he's a free agent.Weren't we looking at him a few years ago, but he got a lot more than we anticipated in free agency?
I got a feeling this is going to be like that one christmas when I was 8, had my heart set on a 6sp plastic clad Huffy bike...ended up w/ a basic grey BMX.
Yeah but don’t you have to try real hard? You can't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need.
Manny Sanders makes a lot of sense. Solid veteran WR… won’t cost much… and is familiar with the offense. If I were a betting man, I’d have to see he’s got the best odds of getting back with the Saints.Emanuel Sanders is available. He's not amazing but he is a solid veteran WR who could take a lot of snaps opposite of Thomas.
I'm all in on the Shenault bandwagon. Think he would do well hereManny Sanders makes a lot of sense. Solid veteran WR… won’t cost much… and is familiar with the offense. If I were a betting man, I’d have to see he’s got the best odds of getting back with the Saints.
I think a trade for a WR is also still very much in play.
Brandin Cooks
Tyler Lockett
Laviska Shenault
Shenault would be very interesting IMO. The talent is there in spades, and he also has versatility. Remember, the Saints also lost Ty Montgomery this offseason… and Shenault can do a lot of the things Montgomery did. Shenault reminds me of Cordarelle Patterson, only.. I believe Shenault has the ability to be a better pure WR than Patterson.
