We owe the 49ers (3 Viewers)

I’m intrigued to find out if Purdy is a short-lived top line QB in the mould of 2017 Carson Wentz (pre-injury) or a genuine early-2000s era Tom Brady type.

I was expecting him to regress this season on the basis of his Mr Irrelevant status who has now put out a season of play on tape, but his numbers are still very strong.

When Dennis can beat a good team. I'll believe it.

Dennis only wins in the past two years was a 9-8 Seattle team and Eagles withoit Jalen Hurts.

He is matched with the perfect HC/OC.

Eerily similar to SP/Drew and this progression that we see. Drew didnt start hurling TDs and Yards until around 2008-9. He didnt hit his stride til 2011. Purdy reminds me of Drews ability to know who is open and where, based on the play called and defense at snap. If he continues to develop, fully grasps Shanahans concepts, it may very well be a Brady-esque career.

I think it's too early to tell. It's a long season and Shannahan has a way of blowing it at the very end. My prediction for NFC is it will either the Saints, Eagles, Cowboys, or Seahawks. 49ers will make a huge mistake and lose.

The Saints beat arguably the worst team in the NFL and now people think they can hang against the 9ers... come on.

The Saints O had not scored 20 points in 22 games.
The 9ers have 1 loss since October 23 2022, and that loss was the NFCCG. And since playing the Saints last year, they made themselves better by dumping Garoppolo for Purdy.

Any given Sunday and all of that, SF is a much better team, much better coached.

Saints defense can absolutely hang with SF. The Saints offense is not even in the same zip code.
