Haener... Dude is a rookie that probably won't see the field. Putting hopes on him is grossly unfair to him.For me, it’s easily the QB play. Teams live & die by it. 2 years in a row we’ve barely missed the playoffs due in large part to the suspect play of our QB. Now we have DC4 & Haener in house. I think there’s a clear night & day difference at our QB position. Let’s hope it translates on to the field.
We were actually near the bottom when it came to games lost due to injury.
While I agree on principle Foskey, Kendre, and Perry could easily be argued for "superstars" at the college level. We’ve missed in the first a lot recently. That’s where you are suppose to get gamechanging players. We really haven’t had that since 2017. We have a solid team, but most of our superstars are aging. Hopefully Olave could be one of those types of players. I think that the rookies from this class can be solid contributors, but superstars? That’s hard to envision considering that they weren’t superstars at the college level.
I love AT Perry…he wasn’t a superstar in college. I also really liked Miller…he was my #4 RB. But almost everyone wanted Spears over Miller before the draft. He wasn’t a superstar. 99% of the forum didn’t even know who Foskey was when we selected him. If we put up a poll on who to select when we were on the clock…I’m not even sure Foskey would have been in our top 10 options. While I agree on principle Foskey, Kendre, and Perry could easily be argued for "superstars" at the college level.

Pittsburgh had the fewest, Denver the most.
I'll give you AT Perry not being a "superstar" if you can also acknowledge his 2,389 yards and 26TDs over his last two years being superstar level production. Is there a WR in the entire class who outproduced those numbers?I love AT Perry…he wasn’t a superstar in college. I also really liked Miller…he was my #4 RB. I agree with a team full of talented players arent always the winner. A good GM can be a great assembler of men. But the great coaches are leaders of men. Some coaches such as Nick Sabin lead by fear by throwing tantrums therefore the players fight not to be embarrassed. Some coaches such as Bill Belichick lead by fear as well, but its the silent type, where the player puts the fear on himself. Some coaches such as Dan Campbell lead by unity and us vs the world mentality. SP led by fear no question, but Drew Brees was such a respected player amongst the team, that the players were also led by unity. It will be interesting to see what dynamic arises from DA and Carr.1. Coaching.
2. Game planning/Proper use of on-field talent.
3. Accountability from the top down (players fall into this category along with the coaching staff).
If this team operates like they have an interim/substitute HC, even the highest level of player talent will be pretty much ineffectual.
