Besides Archie Manning in 1971 the saints have never drafted a QB in the 1st or 2nd Round in team history .

By far the only team in NFL history that can make that statement

But they did draft a QB in the 1st round of the supplemental draft…

It steams me. IIRC, there were at least three seasons Brees had the numbers over everyone else to be MVP but was passed over for an NFL advertising golden boy instead - and I much as I like Manning, I include him in that statement because at least one of his MVP awards should have gone to Brees (Rodgers was another one who got it when Brees deserved it).
