But several times last year, they lost a game they "won".The Saints have never won a game they lost.
In the NFC Championship game, on the kick to send the Saints to the Super Bowl, the kicker, holder, and deep snapper all attended the same high school, Austin Westlake, the same high school Drew attended!
Shuler.Who did you miss?
Prior to that 2001 loss, the Saints last time being shut out came in a 31-0 home loss in 1998 to, you guessed it…the 49ers.
I remember how disappointing that was. Didn’t we have the longest active streak going into that 1998 game, too?
Shuler.
And during Brees' era with the Saints... Matt Ryan and Cam newton got MVP. NFL MVP is such a joke. It's half a popularity contest.Saints have never fielded a MVP for the season. I know Brees was close but was just beat out by manning.
I thought they all attended Southlake Carroll in Dallas? In the NFC Championship game, on the kick to send the Saints to the Super Bowl, the kicker, holder, and deep snapper all attended the same high school, Austin Westlake, the same high school Drew attended!
It was a different high school. Southlake Carroll but it was Justin Drescher, Chase Daniel, and Garrett Hartley. That would be astonishing but, unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be true. Those players are Garrett Hartley, Jason Kyle, and Mark Brunell. Brees attended Westlake, while the others each attended a different high school, and none of them in Austin.
