Where's Kenny? (3 Viewers)

there's a difference between one player beating out another and in wishing for another to break a leg (or get cut or any number of things)... i doubt if you know it but you've used what's called a straw man argument... you've argued against something i never said

You mean like saying I wish him harm or comparing it to someone breaking their leg as if that's what I hoped for. Try and use [MOD EDIT: :nono: Keep it civil]and focus. Kenny is in way over his head. He is not a good sportscaster. I want him replaced with someone better so that those of us who care about the quality of reporting on the Saints gets better. WWL is the only game in town and it's not like we have a big choice. I sometimes use sarcasm in what I say thinking that everyone will understand it. I should realize that there are some out there like you who need everything explained to them. I will try and keep it much more simple from now on.

I think in this instance he's wishing for Kenny to lose his job because he doesn't want to have to listen to him anymore, not due to any ill-will per se.

Heck, I wouldn't mind it too much either. He's a one-trick pony ( and not very good at his trick) and he tends to act extremely arrogant and talk down at people who have the gall to disagree. I don't think he's a particularly intelligent or talented radio personality, nor do I think the show that he hosts is any good. The coverage is way too narrow, and he gets exposed very easily when a caller brings him out of his comfort zone ( SAINTS). He's a mediocre local talk-show host, nothing more nothing less.

Thank you for restoring my faith in this forum.

I'll never forget Kenny's interview with Pat Yasinskas of ESPN after he wrote that article about the Saints taking a chance on Vilma and Dan Morgan. Kenny was hyping the article up about how the Saints might have the best LB corps in the league!! Pat kept trying to explain that you shouldn't bank on that, its like buying a lottery ticket and saying "woohoo I'm a millionaire!" but Kenny couldn't let it go. And after concluding the interview (aka: cutting his guest short), he proudly proclaimed again that "Pat Yasinskas of ESPN says that the Saints might have the best LB corps in the NFL!!!!"

He just couldn't or wouldn't understand what the article was actually saying. He's such a goober.

That is classic Kenny Wilkerson.

I really like Kenny I thought it was awesome how he came on here last year and posted with us like a regular guy too bad some of us had to run him off sure was nice to have behind the scenes info.

I am curious, what inside information was Kenny(Stonewall) able to provide?

By continuing to listen, you will continue to hear the same hosts. If all of you that don't care for them stop tuning in, and ratings will drop & your desire for change will be known.

Again, I feel like Kenny & Bobby do a very adequate job and I enjoy listening to them. I don't always agree with them, but still respect their opinion. If anyone wants to file a legit complaint, start one regarding the number of commercials WWL airs during sports talk.

By and large, I have stopped listening. I'll listen when Mike D is on or when there's a player/coach interview I want to hear. Other than that, I pretty much turn the station off when Kenny or Deke are polluting it.

Yea Mike Detiller told me Kenny got in some trouble for posting some stuff on here. Also I volunteer to host the saintsreport talk show if we do one haha.

I'm not surprised Kenny got in trouble for some of the stuff he posted on here. The most interesting thing was that Benson fired Randy Mueller because he paid off a Saintsation whom Haslett slept with (and possibly impregnated--that part I might have accidentally added).
